Whether you are just starting your college career this spring, or continuing your educational journey, don’t wait long to register for classes. At most colleges and universities, registration for spring classes is already open.

Students must take advantage of the opportunity to register early if they want to get a seat in the classes of their choosing. For example, Purdue University Northwest in Hammond began priority registration on October 24. This service enables students to be more proactive when creating their academic schedule for the following semester.

Different course section openings do not always last. Be proactive by speaking with an advisor and selecting classes that will provide a well thought out direction, and will help you to work through your degree in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

Foundations of East Chicago (FEC) also offers opportunities for financial assistance for students with their scholarship program. To learn more about FEC, visit www.FoundationsEC.org.
