Northwest Indiana nonprofit organization, Foundations of East Chicago (FEC) has awarded $785,000 in Collaboration Grants to eight community programs for this year.

Each year, FEC offers Collaboration Grants to applicant programs that best align with the organization’s pillars which are Education, Health and a Safe and Viable Community. The dollar amount of each grant varies depending on the needs of the program and the funds that FEC has available.

Collaboration Grants are awarded for programs that are implemented and operated by teams of three to six organizations. To receive funding, the programs must also aim to improve the quality of life for residents of East Chicago.

Since the start of the Collaboration Grant initiative, FEC has awarded millions of dollars to Northwest Indiana nonprofits that give back to the citizens of East Chicago. See the list below to find out which programs are receiving FEC funding this year.
