The Boy Scouts of America uniform serves several purposes. The color of the kerchief separates the boys into three groups: Orange (“Tiger,” First Grade), Yellow (“Wolf,” Second Grade) and Blue (“Bear,” Third Grade). The boys take pride in their uniforms, knowing that they are a part of a group, one where each boy can rely and trust the others.

On April 5, 2018, the boys received their shirts and kerchiefs which were purchased with funding from the Foundations of East Chicago (FEC) grant. They have already learned how to do a square knot and how to do a “Train Handed – Seat Carry.”
