While some may dream of going to a college far, far away, others prefer to stay close to home. Luckily for them, the region has several great colleges and universities to suit the interests of nearly any student. These schools also offer several awards and scholarships to incoming freshmen. Check out the following information on scholarships available through Northwest Indiana colleges and universities.

  • Purdue University Northwest (PNW): PNW makes it easy for students to apply for multiple scholarships at once. One application can make you eligible for over 40 university scholarships. This will free up some time for you to apply for even more scholarships offered through PNW, as some require separate applications.
  • Indiana University Northwest (IUN): IUN also offers a variety of scholarships for students at differing points in their academic journeys. There are many available to incoming freshmen for the 2018-2019 academic year. Check them out here.
  • Ivy Tech Community College: On the Ivy Tech scholarship page, students can search for scholarships offered at the specific campus they would like to attend. However, if your campus isn’t listed, there is an option to apply for scholarships that are offered throughout the entire Ivy Tech system. Just select ‘Scholarships Available Statewide’ in the drop-down menu.
  • Calumet College of St. Joseph: For those desiring a Catholic education close to home, Calumet College fits the bill! Plus, the school offers a variety of scholarships to incoming freshmen, transfer students, and graduate students, all of which can be found on their Financial Aid page.
