Many nonprofit organizations need the help of sponsors, donors or other organizations to carry out their good work in the community. The same goes for the Northwest Indiana Reinvestment Alliance (NWIRA). This organization works to implement programs and educational opportunities for those living in Northwest Indiana. These programs mostly work to help people become financially independent and acquire safe living situations. One of the organizations that helps the NWIRA help the people is the Foundations of East Chicago (FEC). FEC has awarded the NWIRA grants to run their entrepreneurial education courses for the people of East Chicago.
