The Indiana Youth Institute, or IYI, pursues the mission of helping children across the state of Indiana. However, this is not done by directly dealing with children. IYI provides a variety of services to organizations and nonprofits that work to help children in Indiana. With a practice of helping organizations that help others, it is no wonder why IYI has been partnering with the Foundations of East Chicago (FEC), whose mission is very similar.
The two groups have teamed up to help as many Northwest Indiana organizations as possible. FEC, which provides grant money to groups that work to better the lives of those living in East Chicago, has been referring their grantees who need help running their businesses to IYI for affordable coaching and consulting.
