The Food Bank of Northwest Indiana has a long history of helping those in the community who are hungry or food insecure. In recent years, the organization developed a program called Senior PAC, which may also be known as CSFP. This program delivers 40 lb. boxes of nutritious, easy to prepare food to needy senior citizens across Lake County. Last year, the Foundations of East Chicago (FEC) partnered with the Food Bank of NWI to expand the program to help more local seniors than ever before. The delivery of these boxes gives senior citizens access to free, healthy foods without requiring them to leave the house. Check out what is inside each monthly Senior PAC box!
