The Northwest Indiana Reinvestment Alliance is a nonprofit organization which works to improve life for residents of Lake County. The Alliance, along with its sponsors and partners, accomplishes this by offering various services such as:
-Financial literacy counseling and training
-Pre- and post-homeownership counseling
-Entrepreneurial and small business training and development
-Foreclosure modification counseling
-Neighborhood stabilization program counseling
In addition to these services, the Alliance also offers several programs throughout the year. Currently, they are partnering with the Foundations of East Chicago to run the Entrepreneurial and Small Business Project which is an eight week certification course offered to Lake County small business owners free of charge.
