Ivy Tech Scholarship Recipients
We recognize the importance of Ivy Tech to our community. It is a special place where scholastics and trades come together. Many East Chicagoans come to this campus, and they need help just as other students do. In 2012 we created a two-year scholarship to help students find their careers. Receiving $3,400 each, the 2013 winners are Christian Dominguez, Maria-Isabel Gomez, and Valerie Perez.
‘Non-Traditional’ Scholarship Recipients
In addition to the traditional high school graduate scholarships, ‘Non-traditional’ Scholarships valued at $1,000 were given to Francesca Cooley, Fatima Kahn, and Silver Sanders, Jr. for furthering their education.
