Brittany Fielder had a dream of getting her bachelor’s degree. She knew she had the motivation to get it but needed help financially.
Brittany received a $5,000 a year scholarship and attends Purdue University Northwest. Her original plan was to be a Nursing major, but when the school took too long to accept her, she switched to Accounting.
“I do like working with numbers and I am finding this major quite enjoyable and challenging,” she said.
“Every day I strive to do my best on my own accord and to show FEC that the scholarship will be used on a worthy and hardworking student,” she added. “Even though I may struggle in one or two classes I am always giving one hundred percent of my effort. I really want to for my own sake and to assure [the FEC] that [they] chose the right person.”
