The Early Learning Partnership of Northwest Indiana (ELP) is a nonprofit organization that provides programs which help parents to adequately prepare their young children to enter kindergarten, setting them up for greater educational and professional success in the future. The organization has four main goals:

-To enhance parent knowledge of child development and improve parenting practices
-To increase early detection of developmental delays and health issues
-To promote safe and healthy relationships to prevent child abuse and neglect
-To improve school readiness and school success

ELP works with parents through four different programs that address common issues in parenting young children in Northwest Indiana. Practices used by ELP personnel include home visits, regular screenings, targeted outreach, mentoring, workshops and webinars.
